Who we are

Six One Eight Consulting, a corporation organized in South Carolina, United States, operates Garra. Questions about this policy, or about your information, go to privacy@garrafit.app.

What this covers

This policy covers Garra on iPhone and Apple Watch, Garra Coach, and the marketing site at www.garrafit.app. It does not cover our internal staff dashboard.

Information we collect

What we hold depends on which product you use and which permissions you grant.

Account. You sign in with Apple or Google through Firebase Authentication. We receive the identifier that provider sends, and typically your name and email. We store a display name on the account.

Profile and preferences. Training style (planned schedule or ad hoc queue), how far ahead Train home looks, in-app language, and the dates and times you put on sessions.

Training log. Sessions you build or run: drills, doses, notes, timestamps, completion, and the Progress stats we compute from that log. The log lives first on your phone (local SQLite). It also syncs to our servers so it is not trapped on one device.

Health and sensors (Garra). Heart rate from Apple Watch and, if you pair one, a Bluetooth strap during a live session. If both are present, the strap is the source we use. After a run we can write a workout to Apple Health. GPS, while the app is in use, for outdoor distance you allow. None of this starts until you grant the matching OS permission.

Device. Notification permission, if you grant it. The Apple Watch app mirrors a live session; the iPhone owns session state.

Coach connection. If you create an invite and later approve a coach, that coach can read your training board, sessions, and Progress. Read-only. No messages, no feed, no assigning. You can revoke the grant from Profile › Coaches.

Garra Coach. Coach accounts sign in the same way (Apple or Google through Firebase). We store the coach’s account and the grants they hold. A coach does not get a player’s data without an approved grant.

Website. If you join the newsletter, Kit holds your email. If you pick a language on the site, we set a garra.siteLanguage cookie. The homepage uses Amplitude to record page views, clicks and similar interactions, and a recording of how the homepage is used (session replay). This Privacy Policy page does not load Amplitude.

The app. Garra records which screens you open and a short list of actions, such as starting or finishing a workout, completing a set, adding a drill, or a paywall result. The phone sends those to our servers, which pass them to Amplitude and attach your account id. They do not include your name, email, notes, heart rate, or location. The app does not record the screen. If staff delete the account, we ask Amplitude to remove that id.

We do not collect advertising IDs to sell ads. There is no social graph, no in-app chat, and no public profile.

How we use it

We use this information to:

• Run Garra and Garra Coach, including syncing your training log.
• Show Progress from the sessions you have run.
• Upload an activity to Strava when you connect Strava. We request activity:write only.
• Let you send a share image through the system share sheet. We do not receive the destination you pick.
• Show an approved coach the read-only board described above.
• Send the newsletter if you joined it.
• See how the marketing homepage is used (Amplitude).
• See how the app is used, linked to your account id (Amplitude).
• Operate, secure, and debug the service.

Staff may access account data to operate the service, including to fulfill a deletion request you send to privacy@garrafit.app.

How we share it

We share information with the companies that run pieces of the product, and with people you choose.

We also share with a coach you approved, and we write a workout to Apple Health when that export runs. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use HealthKit, heart rate, or GPS to advertise.

Health and sensors

Heart rate, workouts we write to Apple Health, GPS, and a Bluetooth strap are for your training record. They are not sold. They are not used to advertise.

iOS and watchOS permissions gate collection. Turning a permission off stops new collection. It does not by itself erase what we already stored. Email privacy@garrafit.app if you want that deleted.

How long we keep it

Account and training log: for as long as the account exists, then as long as we need to finish a deletion request. App events follow the account, and a deletion asks Amplitude to remove that account id. Website analytics: according to Amplitude and Kit. We do not publish a day count we do not actually enforce.

Your choices

• OS permissions for Health, Location, Bluetooth, and Notifications.
• Revoke a coach from Profile › Coaches.
• Disconnect Strava in the app.
• Unsubscribe from the newsletter with Kit’s own link.
• Email privacy@garrafit.app to ask what we hold, or to delete your account.

Garra’s About & account screen has rows for deleting an account and exporting data. Those rows are not a working server wipe or export yet. Email us. We will delete the account and the training data we hold, or send you a copy of what we have.

If you are in California or another US state with similar rights, we honor access and deletion through that same email. We do not sell personal information. We do not run a separate “Do Not Sell” page.

Where data lives

Six One Eight Consulting is in South Carolina, United States. Processors named above may handle data in the United States. We have not appointed an EU representative or a data protection officer.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures we think are reasonable for a service of this size. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.

Changes

We will post updates on this page and change the date at the top. Material changes appear here.
